Ira Einhorn
asesino estadounidense
Ira Einhorn was an American environmental activist and murderer, active in the field during the 1970s. Born in 1940, Einhorn gained notoriety for his involvement in the first Earth Day event in Philadelphia in 1970, where he was a speaker. His activism was a prominent part of his public persona, earning him recognition within the environmental movement.
Einhorn's life took a darker turn with the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend, Holly Maddux, on September 9, 1977. Her partial remains were discovered 18 months later in a trunk in Einhorn's closet, leading to his infamy as "The Unicorn Killer," a moniker derived from the German meaning of his surname. This gruesome event led to a drastic shift in the public's perception of Einhorn, from an advocate for environmental causes to a convicted murderer. He passed away in 2020.
