Marion Rung

Marion Rung is a Finnish pop singer born in 1945. She has had a notable career in the music industry, particularly in representing her country in prominent international song contests. Rung's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest is a highlight of her career, with appearances in 1962 and 1973. In her first Eurovision outing, she achieved a respectable 7th place finish.

Rung's success in international competitions continued beyond Eurovision. In 1974, she won the Grand Prix at the Sopot International Song Festival, showcasing her talent on a global stage. Additionally, she emerged victorious in the 1980 Intervision Song Contest with her performance of "Where is the Love."
