Ilan Pappé

Ilan Pappé is a historian and political scientist born in 1954. He has gained recognition for his research and writings on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the field of history. As a key member of the New Historians, Pappé has contributed significantly to the understanding of this complex and sensitive topic.

Pappé is currently a professor at the University of Exeter's College of Social Sciences and International Studies. He holds leadership positions in two research centers at the university: the European Centre for Palestine Studies, which he directs, and the Exeter Centre for Ethno-Political Studies, which he co-directs. Through his academic work and research centers, Pappé continues to advance the study of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and related fields.
